After a motocross accident left Grant with a broken back in 2019, we faced an uncertain future. Grant's recovery was a difficult one and eventually he had to go back on the tools as a plumber. After realising that this was unable to be longterm, we decided to make the scary, but exciting decision to start The Biker Bean (whilst still incorporating Grant's love of two wheels).
We went from pop ups at events to transforming an empty shop into our warm, welcoming coffeehouse.
Our establishment isnt just about coffee-its about resilience, strength, community and creating a space where people can slow down and connect.
